An AOW Jeep Tour is a break from reality and a memory for a lifetime. Our Cowboy guides and well maintained Jeeps ensure a fantastic adventure. We are here to help make your adventure the best possible. Call our office if you have any specific questions, custom tour needs or Group tour inquiries.
We use a variety of Jeep models for our tours including classic Jeep Scrambler, the modern 4 door Jeep Unlimited and even a Hummer H2. Depending on the tour booked and guest loads we will choose the vehicle that best fits your needs. Tour vehicles are modified to enhance the guest experience and do not offer as much protection as a traditional vehicles from both the elements and other vehicles. The Jeeps are commercial vehicles and are regulated by the State of Colorado. Seat belts and Car seats are not required but are recommended. Please bring your own car seat if you need it.
No Tour is with out risk including the COVID VIRUS. Keeping you comfortable in your decision making process is paramount to AOW. Additional cleaning measures have been added to do our best in maintaining a healthy fleet. Additionally, AOW has built a custom tour for senior citizens driven by senior citizens. We hope a few additional measures will minimize concerns for both employees and guests.
Jeep tours take place in the great outdoors and are subject to the whims of God the Father. Remote locations, high elevations and rough roads can affect the outcome of your excursion. Our experienced guides are authorized and trained to make tour adjustments for your safety and enjoyment. Please be prepared for an awesome adventure in the Colorado Rockies.
All tours include snacks and water. We also carry wool blankets for your needs. Guest should dress in layers and wear sunscreen. This is wind in your hair fun and adventure. You might get wet!

Americas Mountain is AOW’s top tour! The COG is closed for the season but our guided Jeep Tours are just as much fun. Enjoy the scenery in our open air Jeep and we’ll do the driving.
Tours depart our Jeep Depot Parking lot (1335 Manitou Ave.) at 7:55am and 8:25am and returns about 3 hrs later. (Reservations are Highly Recommended for this popular tour.)
PM Tour departures are by reservation only and weather dependent. We recommend the AM tours for best traffic and weather conditions.

Your guide will transfer you to the front door of the COG Rail Road in a 4×4 Jeep where your COG ticket will be waiting. Enjoy the ride to summit where your Jeep guide will pick you up for your tour down the West and North Face of Pikes Peak on the Pikes Peak Hwy. (All Inclusive and AOW Exclusive)
